As our services involve reserving studio time, photographers, videographers, equipment, and creative resources specifically for your booking, this Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling requests, and refunds are handled.
By booking any service with SweetLuxe Studios, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
Bookings are only confirmed once the required deposit or payment has been successfully received.
Deposits are used to reserve your selected date and time and are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where SweetLuxe Studios cancels the booking.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment must be made before your scheduled photography session, videography service, studio rental, workshop, or event coverage.
SweetLuxe Studios reserves the right to postpone or cancel bookings where payment has not been received.
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
Any balance paid beyond the required deposit will be refunded.
The booking deposit remains non-refundable.
Deposits remain non-refundable.
Partial refunds of additional payments may be considered at the discretion of SweetLuxe Studios.
Bookings cancelled less than seven (7) days before the scheduled service are generally non-refundable due to preparation, scheduling commitments, and reserved availability.
We understand that plans can change.
Clients may request to reschedule their booking, subject to availability.
Rescheduling requests should be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled appointment whenever possible.
One complimentary reschedule may be permitted. Additional changes may be subject to an administration fee.
Clients are expected to arrive on time.
Late arrivals may reduce the available session time without any reduction in price.
If a client arrives more than 30 minutes late without prior notice, SweetLuxe Studios reserves the right to treat the booking as a no-show.
Failure to attend a confirmed booking without prior notice will be considered a no-show.
No refunds will be issued for missed appointments.
Although rare, SweetLuxe Studios reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Severe weather conditions
Equipment failure
Staff illness
Safety concerns
Government restrictions
Emergencies or unforeseen circumstances
Where this occurs, clients will be offered either:
A full refund of payments received; or
An alternative booking date at no additional cost.
Outdoor photography sessions may be affected by weather conditions.
Where necessary, SweetLuxe Studios may recommend:
Rescheduling the session;
Changing to an alternative location; or
Moving the session indoors.
Any decision will always prioritise safety while aiming to achieve the best possible results.
Drone services are subject to:
Weather conditions;
Airspace restrictions;
Local aviation regulations; and
Safety assessments.
Where drone flights cannot legally or safely take place, SweetLuxe Studios may offer alternative coverage or arrange a suitable rescheduled date.
Studio rental fees are subject to the cancellation terms stated above unless otherwise agreed.
Clients are responsible for any damage caused to studio equipment, furniture, props, or facilities during their booking.
Due to the nature of digital products and creative services, delivered photographs, edited images, videos, digital downloads, and other completed work are non-refundable once supplied to the client.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and must be redeemed before their expiry date.
Approved refunds will normally be processed within 5–10 business days using the original payment method where possible.
Actual processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
Clients agree to contact SweetLuxe Studios before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback.
Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in legal action and the suspension of future bookings.
SweetLuxe Studios reserves the right to amend or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
Any changes become effective immediately upon publication on this page.
